Description
Bossman Acetoxy Cure Silicone is suitable for non-structural glazing and general sealing between non-porous components sealing between non-porous components such as glass, ceramics, aluminum and anodized aluminium. In addition to the unique features of silicone rubber, it has superior high and low temperature resistance, water resistance and outstanding weatherability. It also provides excellent adhension to glass, metal and numerous construstion materials.

Directions:
- Remove dust, grit or residue on surface and clean with mineral turpentine. Allow to dry. For repair work remove flaking paint, rust, putties or old sealant. Metal surface must be sound. A suitable backing material must be installed in which are subject to mevement.
- Cut tip of cartridge, fit nozzle and cut 45° angle of desired thickness before placing in a cartridge gun.
- Apply sealant in continuous steady flow. Push sealant ahead of the nozzle, forcing sealant into joints and wetting both sides.
- When using sealant in a lap joint, apply over the line of fasteners, asssemble and fasrened joint as soon as partition.
- Remomve excess sealant immediately with a cloth dampened in mineral turpentine. Cured sealant can be trimmed with a sharp blade. Avoid undercutting the seal.
- Sealant skins in approx. 10 minutes and touch dry in1 hour. Full strength in 2 days at 23°C relative humidity based on 5mm thickness.
Best use within 9 months from date of production.
